12/22/21

Nice relaxing day at work. We got to take another break today and just hang out in the breakroom until the kids came. It was so nice, we never get to just sit and relax. A lady I work with named Nola, said she saw my video of the guy playing the piano on Facebook. She said she saw that I gave him some chips and salsa, so she wanted to bless me. She gave me a $10 gift from McDonalds, it made my day!
I picked up the kids early (I wanted to start our vacation as soon as possible). We went to Nana and Papas. The kids helped Nana make more smooches, while I scanned receipts.
While we were there I looked up the piano players website. His last name was Wechter. I saw a lady with the same last name comment on my Facebook post, so I asked her if they were related to Dr. Wechter who lived down the road from my parents. She said yes, he was their, she was the oldest of 12  kids and he was the 10th oldest. Dr. Wechter was my specialist Dr. when I was pregnant with Peyton and Isaac. I told her about how her dad was so positive and about how the doctor I had before him was trying to get me to abort them because of problems she was seeing on the ultrasound. He was so sweet! Well she asked if she could tell her dad and show him the picture I sent her of the kids. Of course I said yes.
Anyway we thought the whole thing about Dr. Wechter being this piano players dad was amazing.
We went to Goodwill on the way home. The kids each bought something and I didn't find anything. But we were walking by the windows in the back and Peyton saw this picture and said "is that Matthew?" It was Matthew. We thought that was so cool!
After we got home I did laundry, talked to Paul and my mom a few times on the phone, and then I took a bath. After my bath I decided to practice braiding. I watched a few videos and learned some things to make it easier, and I feel like I am getting better. Maybe by the time Peyton is in High School I will be able to braid her hair lol.
We watched a couple shows and then read the Bible before the kids went to bed. Then I watched a movie and did more laundry.

Here is Leon Day 22: He is loving his face mask hammock in the trees, under the lights lol. He even got a snack, an orange kit-kat.

  1. It was pretty exciting finding out the piano player was Dr. Wechter's son. You are a good researcher. Thank you to those precious kiddos for helping me make smooches. Loved the article on Matthew and the picture. So Cool. Leon looks way to comfy. Makes me want to lay in my hammock.
