8/14/22

 Got up for church this morning. Rody was already gone, he had to do the video streaming. Mom and I had to work in the Sunday school. We didn’t really get to see each other much. I took the older kids and she took the younger kids. My kids were so fun.

After coming home from church I took a nap. When I woke up I had the most annoying email. My PayPal account was negative $91.88. I don’t keep much money in there, usually only $10. Well I had $10 in there too and that was gone. I decided to call PayPal and there was a 2 hr wait. UGH! I went online and found out someone made a claim against me for $100 back from May. She bought our trampoline and that was the money from that. Luckily I got ahold of her on facebook. She said she had someone use their bank card and was making purchases from it. She said she couldn’t remember what the $100 was from so she included it in her claim. So she sent me $95 to PayPal to cover my negative account. I didn’t even argue about the other $5 because I was just happy she was doing this. She asked me if i got it and I didn’t, come to find out she sent it to another Vikki. UGH! So she ended up going on her husbands account and sent the money again from his account. This time it went in my account. PayPal called finally and I talked to a manager after being very annoyed with the lady I was talking to. The manager was sweet, but couldn’t do anything about the money taken out of my account. He said I have to have the lady that made the claim talk to her bank and they have to adjust it on their end. She said she would call tomorrow. I told her once the money is back in there I will give her her $95 back. I told the manager that I didn’t trust getting payments over PayPal anymore and he was so sweet. I told him about the $10 i sent last month to someone by mistake and told him how they told me I can’t get it back. He issued me $10 and now that’s good. But I’m still annoyed and wont be using PayPal anymore unless it really is family. 

After all that stress, Rody and the kids, Lucy and I went on a walk around the big circle. It was nice. On our road we saw our neighbor had his horses. The kids and Lucy were very excited about them haha.

I was looking at my Christmas cactus and it is looking so full since I started using the miracle gro every week. This is it before I was using it, and this is it now.

Huge difference!!!

8/13/22

I made my first ever omelet today. Bacon, green pepper, onion, and cheese. It was really good!

Kenzie came over today and brought Mylee with her. I was looking through my old Lenny stuff to see what I could give her. Mylee loved Lennys black outfit haha. She wore it the whole time she was here lol. She’s such a great dog!

Kenzie and Peyton went to a few stores and we kept Mylee here. Mom stopped by, and we got a surprise visit from Adam. He rode his bike from moms house, to Melissas house, and then to our house. he was super sweaty haha.

I made my first home cooked meal since we moved here. I’ve been so busy and Rody has so many gift cards that we have been eating out a lot, or just getting pizza or McDonald’s. I know, its been a while…it sure was nice to eat a home cooked meal! Mashed Potatoes, Meatloaf, and corn.

Rody had to go do a senior photo shoot so it was just the kids and I.

I took Lucy for a walk and we walked over a mile. I talked to misty and she had some people over for a cookout, so I stopped in with Lucy. There were 4 big dogs and Mistys 2 little dogs, and Lucy. It was like we were at the dog park lol. We stayed for about an hour and then came home. I was super tired so I went to bed before everyone.

I came downstairs this morning and found Adam like this. He was sleeping on the air mattress and fell off and he said it flew up like this. He didn’t want to move so he just stayed on the floor hahaha. So silly!

Mom and Adam came over today. I had to cut the grass while they were here. I got mom to try our new lawn mower hahaha…she fell for my trick. Haha just kidding.

Peyton came up to me and admitted she snuck a bunch of snacks from the snack cupboard, so her punishment was pulling weeds, she didn’t mind. I love that she is very truthful and can’t stand not to fess up when she doesn’t something wrong. There’s nothing better then having a kid you can trust.

We went to Qdoba for dinner. We made it a date night since the kids didn’t want to sit at our table haha

After dinner we went to the mall. Adam was telling us earlier that his school doesn’t like when you wear green to games and stuff, so when Peyton saw this manikin wearing green, she said to send Adam a pic. I told him this is what Ill be wearing to his school soccer game hahaha

8/10/22

 The kids and I got up and ate breakfast and noticed the city was cutting the grass next door at the abandoned house. We were so excited, but they did a horrible job. So I told the kids I’d pay them $5 if they wanted to come help me get the piles of sticks picked up and rake. They did, so we got to work. We cleaned up for almost 2 hrs. 6 lawn bags of sticks and grass. We ended up re cutting the grass, because the city cut over boards and stuff. We got it all cleaned up nice. I love looking out at a nice house next door now.

Then we went to Mom and Dads, Kimmy and the kids were there. We visited for a while and then Kimmy started working on the major rust spots on my car. I needed to go get ready for VBS so I took moms car and Kimmy stayed and worked on my car. My kids stayed and swam with Kimmy’s kids. I got back just in time to get them ready for VBS and I had to leave right away. 

VBS was amazing tonight. I love working with the ladies I met and have worked with the last few days. I’m so glad I did it. I will never forget these few days, I’ve made great friends and my kids loved it too!

After VBS I took mom and dad and Adam some grilled hot dogs. We made them afterwords for the kids and staff and all the family’s. It was such a good turnout. 

We got Adam from moms and brought him home with us. He is the first person to spend the night at our new house.

This afternoon the kids and I went to Tony’s for lunch, we all got the French toast, eggs, and bacon. It was so good!!!
