April 18, 2020

Today I got up and got ready because a guy was coming to buy a desk chair from me. I got it like a year ago for $10 off Facebook marketplace. I sold it today for $50. He came and looked at it on the porch, I talked to him through the window. He paid me through paypal. He was very nice. He was wearing a mask, and he brought lysol wipes and cleaned the whole chair before picking it up. I was happy to see he was so careful!
I read my book a little while. Then we all went on a walk with the dogs. We stopped by to see Grammy and Aunt Ann and talked through the window for a little bit.
Then mom and dad stopped by to give Isaac and Peyton their pens Papa made for them. The kids were so excited! Then dad gave Rody one too. Its a short pen and its super cool. Rody loves it!

After they left, I read the rest of my book while the kids watched their kids church on their computers. The question today to be entered into a drawing to win a amazon gift card was, If God said He would give you whatever you asked for, what would you ask for? Peyton said she would ask for all my family to have longer life. And Isaac said he would ask for Christian family to live with. Hahahaha, then he said he means when he grows up. They were talking about King Solomon how he asked for Wisdom.
I looked over at Lucy and she was sitting like this looking out the window. The kids and I had a good laugh, she is always in weird positions, but this takes the cake. hahaha
Peyton bought a lego set on amazon with some of her money. She is excited about it, but it wont get here til next Friday.
Isaac bought a google clock with his money. He is very excited about it!

Tonight I got a message in my spam messages on Facebook, which i didnt even know existed. It was from a guy named Matthew Larson. He was asking why I have a picture of him and his family on my facebook. I was like what? I didnt know what he was talking about. Then I remembered that I posted a picture of the Author of the book Im reading and his family. I told him that I posted that it was a great book, and I posted the about the author section and a picture of the author. I just said I thought people might be curious what the author looked like, since he is local. He said he totally understood and didnt want me to delete it. He said he was just happy facebook notified him, but couldnt see what I wrote. A few minutes later he sent me a friend request on Facebook. I accepted. He is friends with Mrs Cooper, and Matthew Starke, and a few other people I know. Also he used to work with Kenzies grandpa (Popi). We were talking back and forth through messenger. A little while later he sent me a message saying "How far are you from Midland?" I told him I was from Saginaw. Then he said "If I got your very own set of books, and one for a friend would you be able to pick them up in Midland at some point?" I said "yes definitely!!!' I couldnt believe it! He was so sweet! We talked back and forth for a little while longer and then ask I was telling him thank you he said "Yup! It helps to know the author :)".
The craziest part of this whole thing is that just yesterday I sent Kimmy a text asking her where to buy the books, and I told her I was going to get a set for me and a set for mom for her birthday. Today I found them and had them in my cart. The total was like $71 or something like that for 2 sets of all 3 books. I didnt buy it yet cuz I thought maybe I could find a coupon code or something. And then a couple hours later this happened! God is so good!!!
Tonight we finished all the Superbook seasons. SO then we decided to listen to Psalty's Christmas Calamity on youtube. Haha brought back so many memories!
