I woke up and Lenny was like this next to me, it was so cute!

Today was a productive day. Rody and I hung my dyson holder and charger, I've been wanting this done for a month now.

When we had the kids 1st birthday party we hung balloon's all over the ceiling, it left a sticky residue that I couldn't get off. So for 9 years I have just ignored it and got annoyed every time I looked at the ceiling. Well today we tackled that problem. It was so hard, we tried everything. Come to find out Rody's muscle and alcohol worked the best. After about 4 hrs., we got most of it off. I was crying my arms hurt so bad doing it. Glad that's done!!!

Tonight we went to Grammy's to celebrate Aunt Ann's birthday. We had pizza and cake and yummy brownies that Aunt Ann made. We sure had a lot of good laughs. Rodys mom gave him a box of old pictures, the kids loved looking at his old cars and pics of him from when he was a kid. They loved seeing pics of Grandpa too. Peyton got to take a picture of Grandpa home, which made her really happy.

We got the dogs freeze dried duck heads. They loved them!

We stopped at Nana and Papas because Peyton wanted to get her fidget spinner. She was also excited to show Nana her new Saginaw Youth Choir shirt.

I didn't take any real pictures today, but I did take this one of me having my tea this morning. IT was so warm sitting right in the morning sun, so I put my feet up on the table, it was so warm, I loved it! I talked to Misty for a long time this morning, which was really nice!

We went with my mom and dad to Kimmy's for Eli's birthday! It was so fun, the kids were so excited we got to go. Jacob played his new clarinet for us, he sounded amazing! We had brownies and ice cream, it was so good! O and we had pizza for dinner. IT was my first time trying thin crust, and I loved it! Happy Birthday (a day early) Eli, we sure do love you!!!

Today Isaac got in trouble for not doing the research he was supposed to be doing at school, instead he was sending emails and videos to other kids in his class. His teacher sent me an email asking us to talk to him. He said he was supposed to be researching a bunch of different topics in Iceland. When he got home, we had a good talk with him. Also I decided this would be a great chance for him to make up for not doing the research at school. At school he was just supposed to look stuff up on his computer, since he didnt, he had to write at least 5 pages on all the topics Mr Mize gave me. He wasnt too happy about it at first, but he ended up getting into his research and did 8 pages. He was happy about knowing all about Iceland when he was done haha.

                                                                                    3/4/22

New neighbors are moving in across the street. When I woke up I looked out the window and they were backing the U-Haul out of our driveway, and then I looked at our mailbox....geez! I don't know for sure it was them, but I'm pretty sure. They are pretty young and there are big tire marks in our yard. Fun Fun!

My friend Misty came and got me and we went to breakfast together. We went to a little diner in Bay City, it was so good and very cheap. I got 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and hash-brown's and my bill was $6.88 before my tip. We went to a couple thrift stores and then she brought me home. We had a great time together, its been a while!
I got Peyton ready for her choir dress rehearsal. I found this sweater at Goodwill, she wanted to wear it to practice. She sure looks cute!!!
I came to pick her up after an hour, and got a pic of them in the church.
Then we went to the library, she read all of our books at home and wanted to get some new ones to read. She loves reading so much, makes me happy!!! I was just sitting down while she went looking for books, she was so cute I had to get a picture!!!
I was facetiming with Paul, he was laughing when I did this because he said I looked like my dad, ya I see the resemblance haha
Peyton braided my hair tonight. Its the first time she did mine all on her own.

my cuties!
                                                                                        3/6/22

Concert Day!!! Yay!
We got up and listened to church online today. Brandon Lake was doing the worship at Elevation, so we were pretty excited about that!
Her concert was amazing, they sounded so good! I loved it!

This is her music teacher. She directed the whole concert, she is amazing!

Mom and Dad came to the concert too. It was so nice to have them there.
Afterword they took us to Culvers. IT was so nice, we were the only ones in the whole restaurant.
This was Rody's first time in a restaurant since before Covid.

The kids came home and played Uno, they sure love using dads card holders. They play every day now!
Now we are watching Dr Quinn Medicine Woman!

  1. This is a great way to post so that it's not overwhelming for you. I love the pictures of the kids, the good lesson you taught Isaac and that he ended up liking it, the birthday celebration for Eli at Kimmy's, Peyton's choir concert and the fun afterward, the kids using the card holders, the picture of Lucy on the couch and the big "baby" Lenny in your bed. All so cute and you've captured so many memories to treasure. I love you!
